OSAAT DT CARD - CHALLENGE NO 178 - USE A DIGI

Good morning fellow blogsters and followers - and I must say a huuuge welcome to Hazel who has just become my latest follower.  Thank you so much for joining me on Planet Susie!!!

The challenge from One Stitch at a Time this week is "Anything Goes - with a Twist"!!  The twist is very simple, you must use a stamp from the Stitchy Bear Digital Stamp Outlet.  There are loads of stamps on this site to suit everyone, so please check them out.

The prizes this week include ribbons, scrapbooks, flowers etc so please have a go and whilst you are on the site take a look at the cards made by my teamies - what talent!!!

Here is my Devilish Kiss card!!  I have to confess that I made a mess of her hair, I started off with black hair and red 'bits' - then I couldn't put my Promarker down and her red 'bits' kept spreading and spreading ............. until she ended up for a full head of red hair and no bloomin' highlights!  I really am a numpty!  I was a tad naughty and glazed over her black bra top so that it looks a little PVC-ish!
Ooooer Matron!

Go on - give us a kiss!!!!
This is the inside, very flat with a little blank heart for writing that special message on!!!

CCC - CHALLENGE 'ANYTHING GOES'

Good morning peeps - I am now finally back to earth following my intake of sea air and giggling with Sue J and Maureen so I am going to post my Christmas card for the CCC challenge.  The challenge this time is Anything Goes - so here is my card -

The image is from Polkadoodles Magical Winter CD - there are some really sweet digi images to colour on there.  I used papers from First Edition plus some little sentiments from LOTV.  The border is by Memory Box and there is a little flash of Stardust Stickles and also a tiny spot of glitter spray on the border itself.

I hope you like this one  - thank you for visiting my blog and if you have had the time to leave a comment then you are a star!!!  My blog means a lot to me and I really enjoy myself.  Still can't believe that I receive comments from lovely peeps in Australia, Malaysia, America, Portugal, Gibraltar, Switzerland, Finland, Ireland, Scotland and of course the UK - if I have missed anyone out please excuse me - it is nothing personal purely a memory blitz!!!

Oh well I have bruised your eyeballs for long enough, so I will be off - lots of hugs to you all out there, I hope you are really enjoying your Bank Holiday.

SUE

I would like to enter my card into the following 10 challenges -

SCARBOROUGH AND THE THREE CRAFTERTEERS PLUS TWO HUBBIES!!!

Oh Good Grief!   I am still recovering from our meeting in Scarborough with Maureen (Scrappymo) and Sue J (Ollie's Mam) -  we just talked and giggled non-stop!   Now, reading my blog, you will probably think that I am quite outgoing but,  I am much better blogging, emailing or texting!  Face to face and I tend to be a shy shrinking violet although my sense of humour is still there (hidden in my head)!!  Well, I felt as if I had known Maureen, Sue and Paul all my life and they were so easy to talk to!   My hubby was pleased with me because I have been known to bottle out of visiting places at the last minute because I panic!

Anyway, as Sue has already mentioned (lol!!!) we went to Winking Willie's for a fish and chip lunch - yup I do like haddock best because it doesn't taste fishy!  Sue and I were nearly on the floor giggling like a pair of loons - this really was a passing comment from me, so none of the others knew what we were going hysterical about.   We managed to explain to them though - well Sue did!

The maestro took some pics for me so here they are -

From left to right - Maureen, Sue J, Moi, Graham, Paul
I must explain that my hair is normally a longer version of Maureen's, however, I was melting into puddles and my hair was in a little soggy mess!   Oh - and you can see why my bosoms caused me such hassle when I went to the opticians.

The three Crafterteers (Sue's idea to call us this, makes me chuckle!) - Maureen, moi and Sue J.
We all wanted to have Ollie with us but he was stopping with Sue's neighbour Lizzie enjoying himself.  Mind you, I have been informed that once his dad was home, he went ecstatic and wouldn't let him out of his sight - bless you Ollie!!   He does love his mum as well!!

Now, here are the other two members of our party - no-one else knew that they were here!  This is Grizzly Graham and Dolly, they have been everywhere we have been ie all over the world, so we couldn't leave them at home.  Grizzly is wearing his sunglasses and a camera around his neck and Dolly has a little message from my mum (she gave her to me when I started to have problems with planes!!!!)  I have had her for so many years that her first dress and bonnet were a little worn out so I made her new clothes - including drawers, 'cos she wasn't wearing any, the hussy!  I also made the outfit for Grizzly Graham because he looks just like the hubster when he is on his hols - lol!!!

Maureen will be back to her blog on 1 September as she is not leaving Blighty until about 29 August, I think she said.  I am sure she will have enjoyed herself with all her relatives and all her visits to blog friends!    Ooh, her hubby was with his relatives doing a little fishing and he was soooo successful with his 'cod catching' - well done Al!

Sorry if I have waffled, but I always do!  I am still walking on clouds 'cos of my lovely time with such great peeps!

Hugs to you all

CHERRY RIPE, CHERRY RIPE, RIPE, RIPE CHERRIES ...

Come on Christine sing it louder please!!!  Join in Jenny .... and Sue J  - just save yourself gal!

Well hello my little blog mateys out there - boy do I have a story to tell you  - and was I embarrassed right to the roots of me Barnet!  Anyway some of you know that I have been needing new glasses for a little while now, but the optician is another no no for me (just like the dentist and the hairdresser).   My lubbly hubbly has to have his eyes tested every year so, this time, he took the bull by the doodahs and decided to make an appointment for me as well.

I was first in and a very nice lady  - a few years younger than moi - was designated (poor soul) to do the usual puff of air in the eyeball jobby and also to take pictures of my eyes (provided I would stop blinking long enough she said - lol).  First of all though she asked me to rest my chin on the bottom bar (bless her she did say chin and not chins - I love this woman!!) then she told me to lean my forehead against the top bar.     Oh poop! this became a problem, I just couldn't get close enough 'cos of my bloomin' double D's!!!  I was giggling, she was choking and then it came to me, I would just have to hoist 'em up onto the desk!  Well it worked a treat and we both managed to calm down and do the necessary to get the job done!  Thank goodness I thought, as they sent me upstairs to the 'head' optician to have me eye test 'proper'.

Orf I toddled but guess who had forgotten that I had to use the same sort of apparatus and also the OPTICIAN WAS A BLOKE!!!!!  Well I was dreading the moment when he came to the bit about rest your chins etc etc, however he finally said it and I tried and tried but just couldn't get there.  He was almost on the verge of saying "Don't worry ..... " when I thought 'bu..er this' and I grabbed hold of the two metal uprights holding the bars together and pulled meself towards the 'machine'.  I had to hold me breath of course and me bosoms looked like a couple of Pitta Breads somewhere on me knees, but at least I got it sorted.  I certainly wasn't going to hoist in front of him!!!  Oh and fortunately this test was in a small office, whereas the one downstairs where I hoisted etc ... was in a cubicle with folks sitting just outside watching.

I have to go back sometime next week to get my specs and I am soooooo not looking forward to it.  Let's hope me bruises have faded on me bosoms.

Sorry about the waffling (Jenny!) but I just had to tell you all about it - I was laughing but I was also scarlet with embarrassment.  I think I limbo'd under the door on the way out!

Well, here is my next card, I made this one for Lady Anne's Stamp Challenge just before I decided to leave the DT.

Ingredients

7" x 7" card blank
Papers - Arctic Frog and Anna Griffin
Digi - Lili with Berries by Inky Impressions
Spellbinders - 5 x 7 Matting Basics A
Spellbinders - Timeless Rectangle
Spellbinders - Stately Circles
Cheery Lynn - Lace Corner Deco B
Promarkers/Copics
WOC Cherry Blossom flowers/foliage

Do let me know what you think about this one, I must admit I lurve cherries and I also love this red colour.  If you are still reading this (and not asleep), please let me thank you for sharing my embarrassment at the opticians.  Just think of me when I have to go back to collect them.  My bosoms should come out unscathed this time though!  lol.

Oh, oh, oh - best of all, afterwards the hubster said "Why didn't you make the chair higher, you would have been alright then!"  Now why didn't I think of that eh?

Thank you for stopping by my blog and for all the lovely comments on my previous posts.  You really are kind and talented!!  I am constantly amazed when I toddle around blogland.  There are so many creations that are real corkers and they just stop you in your tracks.

So that's all from me for now (who said thank goodness??)

Big hugs to you all

CCC - ASHA'S CHALLENGE - FAVOURITE FESTIVE TUNE

Good morning my lovely peeps and blogsters.  I do hope you all had a great weekend and managed to get some time to craft.  I have been crafting and ironing, not in that order!  My fault entirely of course, I hadn't ironed for four weeks - disgustin' eh??  My back was hurting more than usual so I thought I would leave it (the ironing) for a while and then I had DT work to do soooo it just sat there festering - lol!  Anyway I took the bull by the doodahs and started it on Friday - hip hip hooray!  Just a smidge more to go - bet you are bored by now so I had better post my card before you all nod orf!!!

I will add the ingredients later because I was in a tidy mood when I was getting my dies together to make the diecuts  and I popped them back into my folders before I noted which ones they were.  Will I ever learn???

This card is for the Christmas Card Club, the lovely Asha set the theme this time and asked us all to make a card depicting our favourite Christmas song or Christmas Carol.  I found this lovely image with the title already underneath so I thought "why not".    I don't really have a favourite Carol 'cos I love them all and sing along whenever I can.

I coloured the image and then used white Coconut card for the diecuts.  I used some Aspen Mist Versamagic Chalk ink on some of the edges etc to highlight the pieces.

Ingredients

7" x 7" Card Blank
Digi from my folder - unknown unfortunately
Die'Sire Regency Swirls Embossing Folder
Tattered Lace Square Die
Corners from Tattered Lace Square Die
Memory Box - Lindeman Snowflake
Spellbinders - Layered Poinsettia
Promarkers
Aspen Mist Versamagic Chalk Ink
Stardust Stickles - lots of!

I know my little Angels aren't actually singing because you can see them smiling - that's because they are between Carols - Hark the Herald Angels Sing is coming up next!!! lol.

I hope you like my Christmas Carol and are singing along - I know Christine H will be.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and checking out my creations - I love reading your comments, especially when you make me laugh.  I will be back later to add the ingredients and I will also enter a few Challenges.

Big hugs to you all.

OSAAT DT CARD - CHALLENGE NO 176 - USE A DIGI

Good morning my fellow blogsters and buddies.  I am scheduling this post (today is 7 Aug) so I do hope the weather is being kind - not too hot eh ladies - and that it isn't raining at least!   This is only me second steampunk style card and I absolutely lurve this image.   The challenge this week is to use a digi and the prize is amazing - just check it out on the OSAAT site - here!  You have until midnight on Saturday to get your entries posted.

In case you are wondering - I have just learned how to link the OSAAT site to my blog as above!!!!   Yay - thank goodness it isn't Friday, 'cos if you learn something new on a Friday you get another wrinkle on Saturday.  As I already look as if I could do with a good iron - I don't need any more!!!

I managed to get a little bit of my favourite glaze on here - on her glasses, the clock face and the turn-key on the top of her hat.  I also used some of that wishy washy tape stuff just along the top and the bottom of the card.  I quite like this tape and will have to use it again!  It looks a bit like the stuff I use on me fingers when I cut meself - I'm allergic to plasters so this would look quite - I would say 'cool' but I am not sure whether I should at my age - lol!

Ingredients

8" x 8" card blank
Steampunk digi - BBKakes, Stitchy Bear Outlet
Spellbinders - Wonky Rectangle
Memory Box - Pierson Corner
Memory Box - Graceful Chandelier
Cheery Lynn - Lace Corner Deco B
Tim Holtz - Clock Dial, Tissue Tape, Tickets
Kanban Papers + papers from stash
Promarkers/Copics

I hope you like my card, let me know won't you.  I really am pleased if you have the time to leave a comment but don't worry if you are too busy, I understand 'cos I am just the same!!

Don't forget to check out the OSAAT Challenge and also the creations made by my teamies.

Big hugs to you all and keep well.
